Sue Rosser Delivers Female-Friendly Engineering Lecture
> Mary Frank Fox, NSF ADVANCE Professor
of Sociology, is recipient of the WEPAN (Women in
Engineering Programs) Betty Vetter Award for Research. Recognizing
notable achievement in research on women in engineering, Dr. Fox
was selected for her 20+ years of research focused on the study
of women in science and engineering, including how institutional
and organizational factors impact participation, performance,
and assessment. Her seminal research has appeared in more than
40 different scholarly and scientific journals and collections,
has played a key role in developing institutional policy and practice,
and has had positive impacts on attracting, retaining, and developing
women in the technology fields
